When you study online with The London Institute of Banking & Finance (LIBF), you may be eligible for one of the undergraduate or postgraduate scholarships listed on this page.
If you enrol in our online undergraduate courses, and you live in the UK, you’re eligible to apply for the LIBF Undergraduate Scholarship. Use the funding to support your studies and to buy any new equipment you need to succeed with your online degree.
Award
If your application is successful, you’ll receive the scholarship directly into your bank account each academic year throughout the programme, provided you continue to meet our criteria.
Amount
You’ll receive £950 each academic year – that is, a total of £2,850 for the full course or adjusted pro rata for part-time study.
You’ll be invited to submit an application for this scholarship when you apply for your online degree. You’ll be asked to submit a 300 to 500-word statement telling us how our degree programme will support you in your career and achieving your aspirations.
If you live in the UK and you enrol onto one of our online postgraduate courses – delivered with our partner, the International University of Applied Sciences – you’ll be able to apply for an LIBF UK Postgraduate Scholarship (Academic). This scholarship is to support you if you do not have any professional work experience.
Award
If your application is successful, you’ll receive the scholarship directly into your bank account every academic year throughout the programme, provided you continue to meet the criteria.
Amount
You’ll receive £2,000 in total, throughout the programme, regardless of whether you study full-time or part-time.
How to apply
You’ll be invited to apply for this scholarship when you apply for your postgraduate programme. You must submit a 300 to 500-word statement outlining how your academic background will help you succeed in this degree, your career, or both.
If you live in the UK and you enrol onto one of our online postgraduate courses – delivered with our partner, the International University of Applied Science – you’ll be able to apply for an LIBF UK Postgraduate Scholarship (Working Professional). This scholarship is to support you if you’re a working professional in the sector.
Award
If your application is successful, you’ll receive the scholarship directly into your bank account every academic year throughout the programme, provided you continue to meet the criteria.
Amount
You’ll receive £2,000 in total, throughout the programme, regardless of whether you study full-time or part-time, provided you continue to meet the criteria.
How to apply
You’ll be invited to apply for this scholarship when you apply for your postgraduate programme. You must submit a 300 to 500-word statement outlining how your professional working background will help you succeed with this degree, your career, or both.
An online education from LIBF will benefit you wherever you are in the world. If you’re studying online with LIBF from outside of the UK, you may be eligible to receive a scholarship for your bachelor’s or master’s degree.
Award
If your application is successful, we will apply the scholarship to each tuition fee payment.
Amount
You will benefit from a 35% reduction in tuition fees.
How to apply
The information you enter on the application form will indicate whether you’re eligible for this scholarship. If you are, we’ll ask you to send supporting documents and proof of your address. Once we have this information, we’ll be in touch to confirm that you’ll be receiving the award.
How much are my tuition fees?
Use our tuition fee calculator to check your course fees. Simply go to the relevant course page and enter the country where you currently live and your desired duration of study. You will be shown the cost of your individual tuition fees.
Bursaries help make learning more affordable and accessible. When you study an undergraduate course online with The London Institute of Banking & Finance, you may be eligible for a bursary. To be eligible for this UK undergraduate bursary you must:
be resident in the UK
be funding your studies through a Student Finance England tuition fee loan, and come from a household with combined earnings of £40,000 or less.
Award
If you meet all the criteria above, you’ll receive the bursary in two instalments (one at the end of each term), provided you continue to meet the criteria.
Amount
The amount you receive will vary, depending on your circumstances.
If your household income is:
up to £25,000, you’ll receive a one-off payment of £1,000
between £25,000 and £30,000, you’ll receive a total of £650
between £30,000 and 40,000, you’ll receive a total of £300.
How to apply
If you meet the criteria, bursaries are awarded automatically so you don’t need to apply.
When you apply to Student Finance England (SFE), they will ask you to give consent – both personally and from your family – for them to share your family income data with us. Once SFE have passed this information to us, we can then determine your eligibility for the bursary.
