Ready to apply for your online degree with LIBF?

Our application process is easy and free charge. Here’s everything you need to know about applying to study with us online. When you make your online application, you’ll choose everything about your online degree – from when you start to how you want to study, full or part time.

Step 1: Select your course and funding options

Check out our range of online flexible degrees. Decide:

  • which degree you want to study

  • when you’d like to start, and

  • whether you want to study part time or full time.

There are several funding options and a variety of scholarships and bursaries available to make learning more affordable and accessible.

Step 2: Check you meet the eligibility requirements

Admission criteria vary depending on the course you select. Check you meet the entry requirements for your chosen degree or contact us for advice.

Step 3: Complete your online degree application

Ready? Great! Applications for our online degree programmes will open at the end of May. Simply hit the ‘Apply’ button on any page of our website once applications are open and start your online application.

Choose your country of residence, study programme, when you’d like to start and your study duration. Enter your details and when you’re ready, hit submit!

Stuck or have questions? No problem – contact us for help.

Step 4: Sign your study contract

After you complete and submit your online application, you’ll receive a conditional offer from us. This offer is valid as long as you meet all eligibility requirements. Read it through carefully, sign, and return it to accept your offer.

Remember to send us the necessary documents for your course, such as:

  • Level 3 qualification certificates (A levels, AS levels, high school diploma or equivalent) and/or previous degree study certificates

  • Maths and English GCSE or equivalent certificates.

  • Passport or other personal identification used in your country.

  • Your CV (curriculum vitae) outlining your work experience (if required for your study programme).

  • Proof of English language - not required for native speakers and those who have graduated from an English-speaking school or university.

Step 5: Organise how to fund your studies

We recommend organising your funding as early as possible. Most UK students can apply for government student loans to cover their tuition fees at both undergraduate and master’s level. You only start repaying after you finish your course and exceed a salary threshold. If your student loan application is successful, it can take six to eight weeks to receive your funding.

Now is also the time to apply for an LIBF scholarship. Simply upload a document along with your proof of eligibility and send an email to onlinedegree@libf.ac.uk detailing:

  • your name and contact information

  • the name of the scholarship you wish to apply for

  • your 300-500 word statement.

If you, or your employer, are funding your studies, ensure all your finance is in place so that you can begin your course on your chosen start date.

Step 6: Receive confirmation of your place

Once we have the documents we need to verify your eligibility, we’ll email you to confirm:

  • your place

  • start date, and

  • what you need to do next – including paying the first instalment of your tuition fees if you're self-funding.

We’ll also confirm the outcome of any scholarship and bursary applications and whether you’re eligible for a dual degree – which is a free second degree from the International University of Applied Science (IU) – as well as your chosen degree with LIBF.

Get started!

You’re all set! On your start date, you’ll receive your login details and be able to familiarise yourself with your MyCampus learning environment and course material. You’ll be able to start your first module.

You’ll also be able to use the IU learning app, connect with lecturers and fellow students as well as get full support from our online team.
