Ready to apply for your online degree with LIBF?

Our application process is easy and free of charge. When you make your online application, you can choose not only the course you want to study, but how you want to study it – whether full time or part time, 100% online or through a blend of in-person classes and online learning. You’ll also choose additional options such as funding options and your start date. Here’s everything you need to know about applying to study with us.

Step 1

Select your course and funding options

Check out our range of online and blended flexible degrees. Decide:

  • which degree you want to study

  • whether you want to study online or blended

  • when you’d like to start, and

  • whether you want to study part time or full time.

There are several funding options and a variety of scholarships and bursaries available to make learning more affordable and accessible.

Step 1

Check you meet the eligibility requirements

Admission criteria vary depending on the course you select. Check you meet the entry requirements for your chosen degree or contact us for advice.

Step 1
Step 3

Complete your degree application

Ready? Great! Simply hit the ‘Apply’ button on any page and start your online application.

Choose your country of residence, study programme, when you’d like to start and your study duration. Enter your details and when you’re ready, hit submit!

Stuck or have questions? No problem – contact us for help.

Step 4

Sign your study contract

After you complete and submit your online application, you’ll receive a conditional offer from us. This offer is valid as long as you meet all eligibility requirements. Read it through carefully, sign, and return it to accept your offer.

Remember to send us the necessary documents for your course listed on the entry requirements page.

Step 4
Step 5

Organise how to fund your studies

We recommend organising your funding as early as possible. Most UK students can apply for government student loans to cover their tuition fees at both undergraduate and master’s level. If your student loan application is successful, it can take six to eight weeks to receive your funding.

Now is also the time to apply for an LIBF scholarship. Contact us for more information.

If you, or your employer, are funding your studies, ensure all your finance is in place so that you can begin your course on your chosen start date.

Step 6

Receive confirmation of your place

Once we have the documents, we need to verify your eligibility, we’ll email you to confirm:

  • your place

  • start date, and

  • what you need to do next – including paying the first instalment of your tuition fees if you're self-funding.

We’ll also confirm the outcome of any scholarship and bursary applications and whether you’re eligible for your chosen degree with LIBF.

Step 6

Next step for international students applying for blended courses

If you’re applying for a full-blended learning course as an international student, you’ll need to apply for a UK student visa to live and study in London.

You’ll need a Confirmation of Acceptance of Studies (CAS) number from us to apply for your UK student visa. To issue your CAS, we are currently awaiting sponsorship approval by UKVI. We’ll send your CAS number to you directly once we’ve received UKVI approval to do so. Once you receive your CAS number, you’ll need to apply for your UK student visa online, via the UK Government website.

We won’t ask you to pay your holding deposit and non-refundable application fee until you have everything you need to apply for your visa.

You'll need to apply for your UK student visa online, via the UK Government website. Here are some essential things to know about applying for your student visa:

This is just some of the key information. You'll find everything you need to know about applying for a UK student visa on the UK Government website.

You’re all set!

If you applied for an online degree course, you’ll receive your login details on your start date and be able to familiarise yourself with your digital learning environment and course material. You’ll be able to start your first module.
